AN HADI

*Will not be included in the 2007 USA Tour*

An adaptation of Jess de Paz' performance thesis entitled "Limasawa" or "Five Wives" by two of LDT's budding choreographers.  They infuse fresh approach in modern ballet giving an exciting staging to the work. The piece deviated from the traditional story line of Rajah Kulambo, his five wives, and the arrival of the Magellan expedition to the shores of Limasawa. Rather, it focuses on the ethos of true love, forgiveness and reconcialtion.

Artistic Direction: JESS DE PAZ

Choreographers: JERRY MORES & CHRISTOPHER FLAUTA

Music: MELVIN CORPIN

BAILES DE LOS PILIPINOS

Sweet memories of an era gone by in Philippine history, where elegance and grace was the order of the day. These dances recreates the dances of Hispanic Philippines. While the costumes and basic movements are as original as it can be, LDT's interpretation freely used ballet movements to create an aura of European dances.

KARAHIBOT

The rural folks especially that of the Leyteños and Samareños are seen in this suite. The dances depict the rural customs and traditions that to this day have become hallmarks of Philippine folk dances.
